From the vet surgeon for Dakotah's knee, that is!
He is fine to be home and to manage those stairs, albeit slowly, and his leashed walks can be back to normal time! In six weeks he can start running offleash again, with supervision. Whew! He has mild tendonitis and the bone healing is somewhat slower than normal but still, his knee is stable and we are sooo thrilled!
What a huge stress off our backs... Vegas starts travelling for work again next week which means I am alone to care for the two dogs, it helps immensely that both can follow the same daily routines and all.

I am glad to hear that! It's tough to see your babies in pain. Especially when they can't communicate what is going on with them. That is great news!
YEY!
No running! No matter how much he convinces you. ;)
Girl1218, I know! If only they could talk... er. Maybe best if they don't :-D
Prin, nope. He's leashed 100% of the time when outside and he is NOT dragging me anywhere, LOL! Running is ok mid-October, the vet actually said he needs to at that point. Yey!
YEY FOR MELONHEAD!
I'm so happy everything went well...sick and injured puppies are no fun.
Great news!
Myself, I know!! wooo!
Dolce, life can go back to normal now so whew! Big sigh of relief. I need a drink to celebrate!
WW, indeed! Soon he can come on hikes with us in the woods again!!

'Tis surely awesome to really know (having seen the xrays yesterday) that things are on the mend.
