Mentos + pepsi = my brain

If you're a nerd or know how to navigate through youtube, you'll know what the title of this post really means.

So, the plot at work thickens, as does the stress, the volume of emails, phone calls and the pressure to "do better, or else". The whole team is under the cocked gun and frankly, if this is what life boils down to then I don't want it.

All I want to do is to sell dog food and help people feed their pets better, is that so wrong? sigh. I seriously need a career reorientation, and soon.

*runs in circle flailing arms*

Vegas is back home in time for a late-evening dinner, happy to discuss "Life Plan B" with him. Better to be ready than to be sorry. I guess. I just wish I had some kind of appetite...

Fuck I hate not knowing what the hell is brewing, or where the ax will fall. Chop chop chop.

The big pie in the sky (or is that guy?) hopefully knows what he's doing.

Amen.

Ah, Technodoll, this sucks. It seems that for some companies your all isn't enough. And I agree, giving a job your whole focus/energy just isn't worth it.

At the end of the day, the job doesn't love you back or take care of you.

Good luck with "Life Plan B." You will be great in whatever you decide to do. I truly believe that.

You'll know when it's time. We're going thru the same process at work..give more, but still earn less. It sux, I know.

Katie, awe thanks! I know that life always works out, just wish it didn't involve so many unknowns sometimes.

Toughgirl, you bet I do! I doubt it will ever fade :-)

Lola, seems to be rampant - ghaah! Are you staying put?

You can come live with meeee! Yey!

Oooo, I know a place that is in dire need of a dog food store... ;)

Sometimes, downsizing and/or capsizing is the only way we'll get out of our routine and venture onto bigger and better things.

You'll see. :)

Stress at work sucks! Especially since work is like 90% of your day. I say figure out "Plan B" and go with that!

I have to admit I don't know what the title of the post means. I am headed to youtube right now to figure it out.

If you do it, I will ;)

Prin, I do love your big house... but oh, the neighbors! :-D Capsizing, tumbling, we have no choice but to roll with the punches. I'm just wary of the bruises.

Girl1218, what did you find on youtube? *grin*

WW, I didn't know you were thinking of the alternative... ohno! Are you ok?

Now, I'm not on the chopping block like you are (if that's what's going on).....but working at this job is such a struggle for me....mentally and physically.....the difference being that they do treat me well, but sometimes that's not my problem.

My goal was to move on to another job by the end of this year, but when I mentioned leaving them......there was a little panic...I shouldn't feel obligated to stay because I think they need me....I really NEED to put myself first.....especially my health.....before my surgery and stuff I never had a problem sitting for most of my day - now I do!

You never know, it may be a blessing in disguise if you move on?! I hate the unknowns just as much as you do.....but I know you have faith that things will work out just the way they are meant to.

Faith comes in many different forms and from many different places :-) WW, you should get hired by National Geographic to take photos. I mean it.

I know what you mean, I survived our chopping block, but now I am one of those forced to pick up the slack of two additional ppl...I am trying to be grateful for the income, but cant wait for my move on to something better out West...

Hang in there!

Hang in there you too, Daring! *crosses fingers for two good outcomes*
