This reminds me of how my ex-best friend did an "anti-war protest"/"performance piece" where she sat in the middle of the college food court wearing nothing but seran wrap and duct tape.
If you're asking if people bought the whole act, yes, but it was totally bogus, which she admitted to in her online journal saying she only is concerned with the war for HER own safety. She actually said she only cares about herself and didn't do it for political reasons. I thought that was sick.
