For sleep, I mean.
I slept for 9 solid hours but feel worse today than I did yesterday - is that normal? My brain is pulsing and wants to rip out of my skull, no amount of stoopid painkillers helps either (the UK drugs are still not here, grraaaahh!). Did I oversleep? I don't remember waking up in a pretzel either...
So yeah it's a warm sunny Friday and I am miserable with pain. Booo.
I added to my credit-card debt last night and bought a new pair of leather walking shoes, flat ones for my fussy feet - can't walk to work in a dress and Nikes, can I? Well I could, white tube socks and all. Then I'd have to kill myself and that's no good.
The thing is, I can't wear cheap shoes, I just can't. They wreck my arches, ankles and knees - so up the footwear chain I go, ka-chinng!
However, judging by the current poll I'm not out of the ordinary or anything. No debts other than the car that Vegas and I just bought, which will hopefully last for a few years after it's paid off. Bah it's only money, right?
*goes off to make a cup of instant coffee cuz it's a loser of a day*

Instant coffee and expensive shoes huh??
whatta combo!i'm feelin a little shoozy myself lately...
I do think there is such a thing as too much sleep. My doctor once told me I was going to not live such a long life if I didn't start getting 9-10 hours a sleep a night and he actually mailed me a book about it to my home. Needless to say I fired him! Jerk!
Enjoy your day! And those new leather shoes.
I added my debt last night too, in preparation for this move, and honestly? It's not so bad.
Not so bad at all.
ha!
Oh debt. I had none. Now I have some...but it is what it is. Gotta move after all!
Do you want my manolos? :P
... hmm.
My limit is 6 hours in one night. I dont think i've slept more than that since I was a toddler
Actually yeah, if you do sleep too long you will wake up feeling more tired. Im no doctor but I did like this 12 hours sleep before (I swear!) and waking up feeling like shit buuuuttt....I did however had some partying done BEFORE that 12 hours sleep so I dunno........
VIMH, I know eh? I'm all about being classy... *snicker*
1218, what strange advice! I agree that an average of 8 is necessary for most people, but some do well with 6 and some need 9ish. But to die early from less than 10? hoboy!
Deutlich, what did you get?!
PrincessB, what are manolos? At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot *blush*
Tin ma'am, I wish I had your body biorythm, you lucky woman! sigh. I need 8, I really do. I rarely get 8!
C.Drama, yeah that makes sense: too much of a good thing is NOT a good thing. Damn alarm clock that never went off!!
Shoes! Ridiculously expensive, impractical, lovely shoes! Manolo Blahniks!
And you aren't sounding like an idiot. I should not know what these are. Seriously...Ridiculous how expensive they are.
PrincessB, if only I could afford such luxuries LOL! but then again summer is here = bare feet in the grass... aaahhhh. Bliss.
I have picky feet too...
And a house and car and man-friend far far away. (i.e. debt city)
gotta be nice to them feet! :)
the bank owns me. *sigh*
Prin, Lola: they can have our money but not our souls! nevah!
We usually feel like crap after getting a lot of sleep because your body finally has time to heal itself, and when it heals itself, you get sick actually. I know that sounds contradictory and weird, but that's what happens.
And quality of shoes are oh so important. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Um Yum, I hadn't though it that... why is it so though? Like a kick-back reflex?
About the shoes: I will never go cheap again... the ensuing pain is just not worth it.
*nods sagely*
New shoes??? That always puts me in a good mood :D
My student loans have caused me to have huge debt, and then with the hopes of a new house soon...yeah, debt is my best friend, lol.
I need at least 8 hours of sleep as well...hardly ever get it, but after a week of less than 8 hours, I feel like crap...
Money spent on shoes that don't hurt your feet and enable you to refrain from being a fashion victim are ALWAYS worth it.
I do think there is a thing as too much sleep. Sometimes I get too much, I don't feel rested at all. But mostly it's the other way around!
HO, at least your studies have given you the freedom of education and a bright career at your fingertips! Am crossing my fingers for you that the perfect house becomes available for you... because it will, you know ;-)
Rebecca, AMEN! I'm done twisting my ankles in the name of fashion. Who needs to be in a walker at 55? LOL!
