Creeeeaaaaak

That's the sound of me trying to haul my carcass around today, oh god do I ever hurt in all the wrong places, LOL!

Horseback riding will do that to a person who hasn't ridden in a decade... yikes. Vegas' daughter had never been on a horse so off we went (Vegas doesn't ride anymore) and we had a really good time - look at the smile on her face (pic clicks way bigger)!
Giddyap!

Today is for lazing... once again we have crappy weather so we're pretty much stuck inside, will have to dust off the board games and finally make that big pot o'spaghetti sauce this afternoon. We have fresh-baked bread for breakfast, a hyper puppy on the floor clamoring for attention and the whole day in front of us going "me! me! make the best of meeee!"

I'm inclined to listen :-)

Renovations still not done so the website launch is postponed (gaaaah!), I'm hoping THIS week will be THE week - dry bank accounts do miracles for the panic button.

*stabs button repeatedly with ghost fingers*

OK time for some hot coffee and a move-on, which is nothing like a hard-on, let's slice that bread, go tend to those hens, feed those dogs and then...

no and then! ;o)

TD - aww, the pic is great! She def looked like she had a great time riding. And why wouldn't the puppy be clamoring for attention?! That's his job. You know? Mmmm - fresh baked bread. That would have gone deliciously with the sauce we had last night at my other half's folks' house.

Vegas, that made me LOL!

Busy Bee, I'm walking quite funny today, hurts more than yesterday, but it will wear off eventually but the memories of trail riding will stay :-)

C, that's not our land but it's 10 minutes from here, lovely place where you can rent a horse on 250 acres... Vegas took a bad spill the last time he was on a horse so he's not risking it anymore. He's happy with the photos, ha ha!

Kathryn, there is actually another loaf just finishing baking as I write this but it's for our contractor, he's such a lovely man and we wanted to do something nice for him (he loves food! LOL) but oh, the drool... will have to make more for us tonight! Now tell me about the gravy, mmmm?

Frank, patience - you're next!

Tell you about the sauce, eh? You mean, you want the super secret recipe that I've come up with?

TD - well, since you said please. I could rattle off to you on the top of my head, but I would not be able to give you exact measurements. So, I will be sure to pull out the recipe card this evening and either blog it on my own blog or post it in the comment section of your "Bread of the Gods" post. K? :o)
