Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman at their very best, IMO...
Two mid-60's men from very different walks of life get struck with cancer; they share a room in the hospital and become fast friends while undergoing chemo. And there is born the Bucket List - things to do before you die.
Couldn't have picked two better people to give us a peek at the freedom money can lend to stretch those wings and go for your wildest dreams; however money doesn't buy happiness as you will see. Will this movie make you cry? Yes, unless you're a robot (and Vegas is no robot...). While this movie incarnates a simple premise, the rendition is flawless and superb, the dialogue rings true and it has more heart than anything I've seen burped out of Hollywood in a very long time.
Warning: Not to watch while on PMS or feeling emotional.

I wish I was a robot...
Then I could crush a car into a cube whenever I wanted to.
Really? I didn't like it. I thought the characters were far too unemotional and underdeveloped.
And lol @ this part: "And there is born the Bucket List - things to do before you die."
:D (i.e. "kick the bucket"? :D)
Oh I actually enjoyed that movie myself!
Frank, if you practice very hard...
Prin, that's what they said in the movie... before you kick the bucket ;-) I found them emotional enough and as developed as I wanted them to be - guess we'll have to agree to disagree!
Myself, yey!!
Now i have to watch this huh?? SHould i wait for Cowboy to get home so we can watch it together before starting on my list, or just watch it now?
I disagree.
:D
I wanted to watch this movie, but the topic of death bothers me in movies. Oh - sad what happened to Morgan Freeman huh? Hope he thinks about this movie as he recovers and makes sure he does things on his personal list....
