Pedestrians are forced to walk in the barely-plowed streets, as most sidewalks are useless:

Commuters squeeze in and out of über-full busses, still can't make it to the sidewalks:

The dogs could care less, they love the snow...

Notice the imprint of a car? You only dig out what you *really* need to!

There is gonna be lots of swearing, broken backs and dented shovels the next few days...

This goes up above my waist!

Dilemma: how to access the car to get the shovel, to shovel out the car?

La la laaaaa...
Blowing ice crystals, perfect for massaging eyeballs and exposed skin. Awesome.
What a desolate and melancholic landscape... sigh.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I would so frame the second to last one. The light is.. um... awesome? :D
Ok, pros and cons list of parking on the street:
Pro:
You only have to shovel out one car space, not a whole driveway. And even then, you don't have to shovel it so that it's clear- just enough to get the car out.
Cons:
- When you come back, you have to circle around and around and around to find a small spot to wedge your car into.
- You have to watch out for the plows so you don't get towed and get a $92 fine...
Driveway wins. :D
Yep, we got dumped on for sure.
I have to agree; driveway wins. Especially when you have a kid to shovel it for you... :D
Can I borrow someone's kid? Please?
