Title optional

So. Bleddy. Tired.

I was less tired when I worked a full-time office job, ffs!

I totally blame the snow.

Happy me! I finished the JRT photo shoot cleanup tonight, have to deliver the photos on Saturday so that's a wrap. I ended up with about 220 pics (we took two days to shoot) and I'm quite pleased with the results, I know my clients will be too! Yay for original Christmas presents!
Is she cute, or what?

Tomorrow morning is for dealing with a barn full of hungry chilly critters, frozen water buckets, frozen poop boards, frozen water hoses and general misery. It's not even mid-December and we're suffering through sub-arctic Jan/Feb temps, it's ridiculous. There's more snow on the ground right now than typically falls in one entire winter here!

*grumble mutter mutter grumble*

Today was for comfort-food groceries, no booze but I did sneak in some Toaster Strudels, low-salt chips (Lays rocks!) and other assorted goodies.

Made sloppy joes for dinner and I do dare say, they were the BOMB. Got this old recipe that's fail-proof, if you like your SJ's nice and vinegary with a sour kick then this one's for you! Sorry no pics, was too hungry, but it goes something like this:

-cook some lean ground beef in a pan, set aside.

-soften 2 thickly sliced and separated onions in 2 tbsps butter, add 1 sliced seeded lemon, add a nice dash of vinegar, 3/4 cup water, some sugar and some dijon mustard. Simmer for 5 minutes, add the meat, some ketchup and some worchestershire sauce, simmer for 10 minutes, adjust spices as necessary.

-serve over fresh hamburger buns.

I promise, these sloppy joes rock :-D

So sorry about the weather, that does suck. Your sloppy joes sound wonderful. Have a nice weekend.

Pictures of the pup are just adorable. You did a great job!

Sloppy Joe's sound so delish. I may make them this weekend.

Sorry about all the snow. I'm sure it is very hard... How are the chooks and old boys doing in the barn? I love the coops you made for them.

You are doing a fantastic job! Keep your chin up!
