Nothing much new, I posted some pics of the new chicks on The Chicken Diaries if you haven't seen them yet... there's even a little penguin in this batch, how cute is that?
Her name is Maggie Mae,
and she better be a girl or we can't keep her - booo!
So, I've been trying to eat less carbs (ok, bread...) in the hopes to shed a wee bit of that muffin top waist. Combined with farm exercise, of course. Um. Do you know how HARD it is to not eat bread? cereal? all kinds of tasty stuff?
Evil, I tell you.
I'm not sure that curbing carb intake by 5% is going to make much of a difference though :-/
I've found a way to hard-boil fresh farm eggs so that's awesome. Less meat, more eggs. Trying to eat tofu but the only way I find it edible is by shallow frying it in hot oil. Not very diet-friendly!
Anyone have tricks to share?
And don't even think of suggesting "drop the cakes and cookies" cuz that ain't gonna happen. There's a limit to the insanity of being fit, thin and healthy!
