Time for a contest!

Let's have a play on words and see which blog reader gets the gold star! Here are some examples to get the game rolling:

Greeting cards: When you care enough to send the very best, but not enough to actually write something.

Foosball: A combination of soccer and shish kebabs.

Aperitif: French for "a set of dentures".

Sympathy: What one woman offers another in exchange for details.

Now, choose one the below words (or two or all three of them!) and add your own whacky definition in a post comment. Over the weekend I'll tally everything up and select a winner, who will be featured in a blog post and on the top of my sidebar for a month or so along with the Winning Words. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Here are the contest word selections:

Newspaper
Spitting
Multi-tasking

Have fun everyone, and have a great Thursday!

Newspaper - a new bath each (new spa per)

Spitting - a jamaican secret agent (spy ting)

Multi-tasking - thinking about neck adornments whilst rubbing thick oil on your arms (mull tie, tar skin...)

Not impressed with the words :) or my 'attempts'
