what is it about a full moon?

They say legends are based on truth, so maybe this thing about full moons and werewolves started when people were sick and tired of being kept awake all night by the monthly lunar cycle so they started screaming and howling out of frustation, some of them running in the fields to try and tire themselves out, scaring deer and other beasties in the way...

Well that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Bleddy insomnia and stiff throbbing necks.

*munches on more ibuprofen*

'Tis a glorious autumn day (yes! it's officially autumn now!), sunny and mild and breezy - hope it stays that way as I have a few outside projects slated for today.

If only I could peel myself off the couch.

I still haven't bought the crown molding for the living/dining room I painted last month. We still haven't shopped for a new couch, carpet, drapes, nothing. The walls are still bare.

I wish I cared, you know?

Maybe that'll come later, with the first snows...

I used to LOVE decorating so much and took great pride in creating a warm, beautiful, cozy home environment - what happened? I mean I keep this place clean and the bones of the house make up for the lack of decoration and style - but still. It's like my focus has been drawn to outside life now, critter care and all that.

Never been happier :-)

Have your lives changed as you've grown older?

Life just gets in the way! In our house, we ending up picking vacations over new carpets, a pool over new windows, May not be practical, but it sure is fun!

Oh and PS when I was at the fair, we split a deep fried Mars Bar....YUM

I completely understand!

I have been where you are - rest assured your desire for providing a warm 'well-decorated' home will more than likely return... Right now, your soul is being soothed and replenished by what is real...

yes. I never want to own a house again. I don't want the responsibilities, I've had for 20 years. Amazingly enough.

I ran threw the woods screaming last night. Did you hear me? :)
we go through phases as far as importance, inside, outside, nothing. Hope you feel better soon.

No energy, that's gone! Don't enjoy the house stuff anymore.
After 38 years of cleaning you get kind of tired/bored by it. You have your hands full with so much outside work I would think your too exhausted to work inside most days.

I am so much more mellow now, things don't upset me as much. I'm glad.
