Live, love, life

We understand death for the first time
when he puts his hand upon one whom we love.

You know, that is VERY true. I never had grandparents. I didnt know anyone who had died growing up. I was virtually unaffected. Then my father died. 4 months later my mom died. And now, I am always shocked into pause when I hear of someone that died...Its never easy. It makes me aware of my mortality...

I'm not sure I understood death, but once it claimed someone whom I loved, I became more aware of individual mortality. And I learned that grieving is part of the life cycle.
