The Facebook timesuck

OK I admit, I've been sucked in... learning how to navigate through Facebook lately, adding friends and it's quite fun actually. Just not sure how many personal pics and stories to post... it still feels a bit invasive.

Got up at 11:30am this morning after a weird night of sleep... had a full-on migraine at midnight so got up to take the killer meds, took a while to fall back asleep, woke up a few times, bizarre dreams, etc. Crunched tylenol for breakfast and here I am, all woozy and stinky and unfocused, not sure what to do with myself today. Am supposed to meet Cocotte for a coffee this afternoon, just waiting for her call to confirm. Hope I recognize what the phone sounds like, man am I ever fucked up.

I keep getting invites to that facebook thingie and have been ignoring them thus far. Should I join? What's the advantage? More potential for online stalkers?

btw, after a little tantrum, nsngnd is back in full swing. Just thought I'd let you know.

You can limit who can search for you, who can see your profile, what they can see on your profile, who has access to your pics, etc etc... Just be wise in the settings...

Oh and if you turn on applications, you allow 3rd parties to access your info (aka spam), so make sure in the settings, you change the apps to "don't disclose my info" or whatever it is. :)

Facebook is horribly addicting, but I think it is a good way to keep in touch with friends, as long as you don't get the creeps who try to add everyone.

Oh I am so addicted to facebook- it's even worse now with all the new features, but it can be fun ;). I actually sometimes feel that blogging is more evasive because I'm showing my true colors- minus pictures. It's a toss-up really.
